Short version: this site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. The only personal data we collect is what you choose to send us through the contact form or by email.

Who we are

This site is run by Jazz Digital Co., Ltd., Chiang Mai, Thailand. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: hello@jazz.digital.

What the contact form collects

When you send a brief we receive what you type: your name, work email, company or project, type of work, approximate budget, your message, and whether you ticked the newsletter box. We use it only to read and answer your enquiry and, if you ticked the box, to send you our occasional field notes. The legal basis is your request to be contacted and, for the newsletter, your consent.

You can also write to us directly by email; the same rules apply to what you send that way.

Who else handles data

  • FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a third-party processor, receives your form submission and delivers it to our mailbox. We do not keep a separate database of submissions.
  • Cloudflare hosts this site and processes ordinary request logs (such as your IP address and the pages requested) in order to serve and protect it.
  • Google Fonts supplies our typefaces. Loading them sends your IP address and browser details to Google.

These providers may process data outside Thailand and the EU. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.

Cookies, analytics and storage

We set no cookies, run no analytics and use no advertising trackers. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser's localStorage on your device only; it is never sent to us.

How long we keep enquiries

As long as needed to respond to you, and for up to 24 months after our last exchange, unless a project follows, in which case we keep the records that project requires. You can ask us to delete an enquiry sooner.

Your rights

Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and, where it applies to you, the EU/UK GDPR, you may:

  • ask for access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct it;
  • ask us to delete it;
  • withdraw your consent at any time (for example, to the newsletter);
  • complain to a data protection authority, such as Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee, or the authority in your own country.

To use any of these rights, email hello@jazz.digital. We may need to confirm it is you, and we aim to reply within one month.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and its date. Questions are welcome at hello@jazz.digital, or see the contact page.
